On behalf of the Firefighters of Shift II, I welcome you to our page. Having served the community in which I also reside for 27 years, I have had the opportunity to get to know the residents, business owners and their employees, teachers and all other facets of the Lady’s Island and St. Helena areas in a very personal way. It is a privilege that we are in a position to provide such a meaningful and valuable service to our citizens and visitors in both emergent and non-emergent situations. We strive to go above and beyond the normal call of duty in any situation, and are dedicated to our level of “customer service”. Being in the fire service is more than an occupation, it is a lifestyle which is inherently grained into the community. It is with pride that I can say that the Lady’s Island/St. Helena communities are protected by an elite group of well trained and dedicated employees who put others before themselves in every situation. We are in the business of being there in times of need, assistance, education, and support, and we take these responsibilities very seriously. Having the community trust and support is a very important aspect of our job, and protecting you is the reason for our existence.
